PLANTATION, Fla.— February 9, 2015— e-Builder, the pioneer in fully integrated, cloud-based construction management software, is pleased to announce that Jon Antevy, founder of e-Builder, and Ron Antevy, president and CEO of e-Builder, have been named to the University of Florida’s (UF) inaugural Gator100. The Antevy brothers were honored during a ceremony on Friday, Feb. 6, at UF’s J. Wayne Reitz Union Grand Ballroom in Gainesville, Fla.
Sponsored by UF, the Warrington College of Business Administration and the Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation (CEI), the Gator100 recognizes the 100 fastest-growing businesses owned or led by UF alumni. Ernst & Young calculated each company’s compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) over the past three years to generate the ranking.
e-Builder was ranked No. 50 with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 43.38 percent.
The company’s unique software streamlines management of construction projects specifically for facility owners and developers. It saves both time and money by helping global companies, government agencies and healthcare and educational institutions manage billions of dollars in capital projects.
Jon holds a master's degree in construction management from UF’s M.E. Rinker, Sr. School of Construction Management and a bachelor's degree in architecture. Ron graduated from UF’s College Of Engineering, with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
“Considering there are more than 400,000 Gator alumni worldwide, it’s a great honor to be recognized among this group of 100 business leaders,” said Ron Antevy.
“The Gator100 is an important initiative that recognizes entrepreneurial excellence,” said Dr. Michael Morris, the Academic Director of the entrepreneurship program at UF. “It is open to any and all companies founded or run by Gator alumni, and recognizes those who are achieving growth, innovating, and making a difference in their communities.”
